Volunteer Work

Volunteer work forms the life blood of many under-developed economies. As a volunteer worker or gap year student, you have the opportunity to give a hand where it most counts. Experience fascinating new cultures, appreciate things we take for granted, and see the smiles on the faces of those you help.

From a few weeks to a few months, there is a range of volunteer work available to suit your needs. From teaching in community schools, assisting animals in Africa to caring for abused children, there is something for everyone. Volunteer work can be best summed up as a vacation allowing the volunteer to experience first hand what life is like in that country. Get away from the group tours, five-star hotels, and experience life as a volunteer.

The capital city of China is Beijing. China has a population of 1.3 billion, and land area of 9.3 million square kilometres.

Why Volunteer?

There are many reasons why volunteers and gap year students head abroad each to give a helping hand. Each volunteer will have their own unique reasons.

  • Pass on special skills and love to others.
  • To give something special in life rather than always taking.
  • Experience life as some of the less fortunate do in this world.
  • Volunteer Vacations - a different type of vacation overlooked by many.
  • Learn about a new culture and way of thinking.
  • Help build communities, save lives and enliven hope.

Volunteer Opportunity - Who participates?

Anyone with sound health is invited to participate in a range of volunteer programs on offer! Many volunteers participate when in between jobs, as a gap year student, just after graduating from University or after retirement.

  • Families
  • Couples
  • Individuals

  • Retirees
