Tuition is required in advance for 1 semester (3 months). You may decide not to continue studying after 3
months - this is up to you. The classes are Monday through Friday - 2 hours per day. You may choose a morning,
afternoon or evening time to best suit your schedule. If you have requested for us to find a Teaching vacancy
then we will slot you in a class that will best suit your work schedule.

Teaching English In Taiwan
Are you interested in teaching English as a second language to students in Taiwan? AAC have contracts
with numerous language schools in Taiwan, and we can help you secure that ESL teaching position.
Part of this service will mean that we will provide you with all the details of the vacancy before you come
i.e. salary, benefits, contract details, ages of students, environment at the school/s, class sizes,
travel distance from where you live and work - basically, all the details you need. And then when
you arrive, you will be able to walk into a job without having to first find one. We will also provide
you with An "English Teaching Contract" that will need to be signed prior to your arrival in Taiwan.
We require English teachers to come from a native English speaking country. That is: Australia, New
Zealand, USA, UK, Canada, Ireland or South Africa.
Having an English teaching position secured before your arrival in Taiwan will ensure your transition
to be as smooth and stress free as possible. Once you arrive at Chiang Kai-Shek International
Airport, there will be someone to meet and greet you as part of our services.
Upon settling down in your full-time English teaching position, we will begin the process of
applying for your work permit. The processing time depends on the documents you are able to provide.
On average, it takes around 45 days to process.

Arranging Accommodation For You
You may choose to find your own housing / apartment / suite in Taiwan. Some people decide to stay
in a hotel for a few days while they look around.

If you have time on your hands and don't mind trying to find your own apartment while staying in a hotel then
you probably wont need our accommodation finding service. You may also choose to speak
