- Wed 08-Oct-08 03:39 PMTeaching SupplyHi,
Unfortunately I don't have any part time work in GZ at the moment, the part time work was some tutoring in SH. We haven't expanded our network to GZ yet it would be foolish to do so without a representative there. Hope all is well considering the conversation below, my commiserations.
S - Tue 07-Oct-08 02:01 PMAzenith HuangI know what you meant. Sad but true - when things you so desired and cherished just die a natural death. And moving on is the only option - keeping close to heart the memories and keeping close to mind the lessons learned. I hope you'd find one day the "right one". There's always an apple for an apple or an orange for an orange hehehe.
Marriage is a sacrament and am kinda surprised about your view on it. Cheers!
Quarterly exams' fast approaching and I am looking forward for a two-week break. Yehey!
Do keep in touch and take care. - Mon 06-Oct-08 09:36 PMexported_kiwiYeah, we're fine with it. Some things die a natural death and I guess that this is one of them. It's better that this happens now rather than after marrying. I'm a kinda old fashioned guy as far as marriage goes. Once is it for me, so, when it's right, I'll do it then. It's sad that it's not right, for both of us, specially as we've both invested so much time and emotion into the relationship but like I said, better now than when it's too late and there'd possibly be a child, or 2, involved.
The weather here is still wet although no rain today. It's starting to colol down now....thank God. I can't tand the heat associated with this humidity!
Hope you're well and keep writing. It's always nice to make new friends.
Take care and regards,
Kevin. - Sat 04-Oct-08 09:20 PMAzenith HuangYou seem just fine with it. Hope she is too. Women view things differently that I admit.
It was raining heavily here this afternoon, too.
Weather is crazy. The rains are off and on.
Take care. - Sat 04-Oct-08 09:18 PMexported_kiwiNah, don't be sorry. It's actually time to part ways and because of the realisation, we're both cool with it. Yep, was in love as she was, but it turns out that her goals must be attained at the expense of mine and that, I can't have. Don't mind compromising, but not giving up everything, sooo, it's done!
Hope things are cool with you there, raining heavily right now here in Guangzhou! - Thu 02-Oct-08 03:26 PMAzenith HuangOh I'm so sorry to hear about that. Based on your posts, I feel you are so much in love. And those years of being in a relationship. This might just be temporary and who knows you both can still patch up your differences. Don't kid me, but parting ways is never cool!
Do stay in touch too. Take care. - Wed 01-Oct-08 10:55 AMexported_kiwiI'm excited to go home alright but my lady and I've parted ways.....difference of goals these days so it's best she goes her way, I go mine. It ended amicably so it's cool.
We've all made mistakes and I think it can only be positive if we learn from them.
You take care too and stay in touch.
Kevin. - Tue 30-Sep-08 03:05 PMAzenith HuangYou must be very excited to be home after seven years! Your Chinese Lady must be too, to meet your family and see your place. Who wouldn't be?
I've heard about Xiamen from friends and they say it's one of the cleaner cities in China.
You're right, China is not a bad place I think and I don't really have to leave and give up everything here. Maybe I will. Let's see on that. If there's a really good opportunity, why not?
I have my share of mistakes too, but I learned so much from those.
Take care and thank you. - Mon 29-Sep-08 11:02 AMexported_kiwiHi Azenith,
LOL on not minding if it's you.......not a good idea in your country! Xiamen is a lovely place by the sea (love fishing) and it's cleaner than most big cities here with all of the conveniences of big city living. It's a place I've been but not for a long time, kinda like a flying visit, and I liked it so I'll check it out later when this semester ends in 14 weeks and after I've been home for the 1st time in 7 years! You know, working in China isn't too bad and you don't necessarily leave much behind because, depending on where you go, you're not too far from home. Manila is only an hour or so from HK.
Me being a nice guy, well, let's just say I'm human and subject to all the mistakes that normal human guys make!
Take care and stay in touch. Jobs are advertised all the time and the time to start looking if you're thinking of nextr semester is soon!
Kind regards and best wishes,
Kevin, - Sat 27-Sep-08 06:19 PMAzenith HuangI wouldn't really mind if it's me, just kidding. I dropped the China thing. I didn't send any. Think it's not worth it - leaving everything here. Though I still like the thought of working in another country. Maybe some time, not now. Xiamen? Greener Pasture? But you just posted that you're thinking of Laos?
Thanks. I think you're a nice guy. I will e-mail you if anything comes up. This friend of mine is really egging me to work there.
Take care and good luck
