![]() | When one hires an expert resume builder, one should give all his information correct to him. Otherwise, wrong information can take you into the court. Its our duty that we verify that the resume has correct information. |

![]() | Re: Legally building resume who ever you get to build your resume can only work with what you give him. If there is any untrue information in the resume the blame lies on you, not the resume builder. they may be able to make what you tell them sound better that what the average person can but deep down, it has to be the truth, they verify that stuff. |

![]() | Re: Legally building resume With a resume, you need to put your best foot forward. However, it's important to remember that you are accountable for being able to demonstrate the skills that you claim to have! I have done interviews for employees in the past and having someone put something impressive-sounding, but false, in their resume is not hard to spot. |

![]() | Re: Legally building resume In fact the candidates themselves lie to get better job and hence recently at many places employment background check is also done before making an offer. I have also come across employment agencies trying to misguide the employers by providing false information in the resumes of the candidates and forwarding it to the employers. Here also the employees have to be pro-active and not allow the recruitment agencies play with their career. |

![]() | Re: Legally building resume I think you are starting to point out the obvious here. We all know that when attending an interview to bring along your resume!

![]() | Re: Legally building resume The point that reviewer is trying to make is very true. People come across jobs through job consultants and recruitment agencies who also arrange for the interviews for the candidates directly. The consultants also send a copy of the resume to the employer as well. Many times you find that the your resume has been marketed in a totally different manner by them (by providing misleading info). |
