![]() | Applying for a Job Overseas Are you sometimes frustrated from the lack of reply from schools and recruiters when applying for a job overseas? Brian, currently an English teacher in Singapore, has this to say: When I first started my job search, I can honestly say less than 50% responded to my emails.It's a fact that fewer schools and recruiters will reply to job applicants that are positioned overseas. To really be in the running for the top teaching jobs, your need to be in that country and ready to start work asap. Being in the country will drastically improve response rate, and open so many more job opportunities. So, if you are seriously considering teaching overseas, then:
