I am new to all this...

Hi everyone...I am new to this forum. I am a recent college graduate looking for an esl teaching position overseas...I have a BA degree in Sociology and also have completed coursework in education.

I am trying to get everything together (resume, passport etc.,) but I am finding it hard to write a resume. Can someone please post an entry level esl resume so I can use as an example?

Resume example

Did you see my sample that I posted at http://www.aacircle.com.au/forums/te...s.html#post127

Main thing is to keep your resume brief and straight to the point. Don't crowd it with unecessary information and use lots of white space.

Resume Help...

Hey, thanks Margy ... I will check it out now...........

Is that the exact format you sent to the employer?

Some people say to put at the end of your resume the words 'References available upon request'. Good thing? Bad thing? Your thoughts on it.

Oh...and by the way, sexy picture.

Good thing. Shows that you have nothing to hide and willing to assist to provide more information if necessary. And yes, that is the exact format I have been using for years.

Worth a look at. If you don't like it, you can always get a no-question asked, full refund.

Great...

Thanks you guys for helping me out. It was the format of the resume that was given me problems. Now I have some examples to build from.

It's better to hire a company to write your resume, if you are going to apply in a big firm. It is not so expensive to have your resume written from experts. They better know than us what they need in your resume in selecting us.

Does it realy nesseary to have proffesional resume? I mean is'nt simply enough to write what kind of education you have, which skills you have and previous work expirience? What else would someone need?
