![]() | Re: Contract Violations This is one of the reasons that many people are afraid to teach abroad. Some individuals take great advantage of the system. How familiar are you with the legal system in your home country, let alone in a foreign land? |

In China, we, ostensibly, have the protection of a government agency that administers the foreign "experts" here but I very much doubt their effectiveness in solving disputes etc. I haven't had the need arise to resort to such a step as yet, hope I never will need to either! |

![]() | Re: Contract Violations I agree with reviewer that people are not familiar with the legal system. Many times people are afraid and tend to be defensive. Also the thing is if you are in a foreign land you have to be atleast confident that the host country's legal system is transparent enough. Most of the time people in foreign country tend not to take any action against the contract violater. |
