 | Newspapers In Education The Press-Telegram's Newspaper in Education Program is a service designed to help teachers use newspapers as a way to integrate reading, writing and thinking skills to the world outside the classroom and to encourage students to read regularly about current local, national and international news. Statistics prove that students exposed to newspapers in the classroom score higher in reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling and knowledge of current events.
