![]() | Unsure of What I'm Doing ^_^' I would like to teach in Japan and have been looking at following this for the past year. However I have no idea how to get started. *I do know that in order to find jobs easier I should get a TESL, TEFL or a Bachelor's degree. I know that you can do the TESL and TEFL courses online but it's easier for me to do it in a classroom. But I'd rather not spend $14,000 for a Bachelor of Teaching at the Adelaide Uni. How old do you have to be in order to start a course and start teaching? - Thank you. Jessica |

![]() | Re: Unsure of What I'm Doing ^_^' To teach in Japan, You MUST have a Bachelor's degree. It's a government requirement that companies only hire people with a Bachelor's degree. ESL or TESL certification adds to your value in the eyes of employers. Hope that helps. |
