![]() | Tossing up which course to do MyColumbus, I notice you are Australian. What course did you do? I'm tossing up at the moment between Teach International, i to i and the English Training Centre. It's so hard to choose. What I also want to ensure is that I can teach at home in Australia at some point if I want to and so I notice that Teach International is accredited by the Australian Govt at Certs III and IV levels. The others on the other hand don't mention certificate levels as such but are based more on hours e.g. 40, 80, 100 hr courses. Any advice? Last edited by gfell; Sat 08-Dec-07 at 01:07 PM. ![]() | Re: Tossing up which course to do I was weighing up between ICAL and i-to-i, but in the end I went for i-to-i. There are a heap of others out there equally as good, so just choose the one that has the modules that interest you. If you want to keep the Australian classroom door open, then definitely go for Teach International due to their affiliation with the local government.

![]() | Re: Tossing up which course to do I did like your course as well. Even though yours is cheaper by 95 Euros, I settled for i-to-i. However, what ultimately won my decision was the fact that i-to-i also use videos and audio as part of their training. This makes the whole routine of studying online so much more enjoyable. Your modules and topics covered were very good and would have interested me for sure.

![]() | Re: Tossing up which course to do Thanks for replying to my question. Funnily enough we are building up a series of videos based on the main TESL/TEFL concepts and ideas covered in the ICAL courses. These are available for viewing to anyone on our website and on YouTube. Anyway, thanks again for your feedback and good luck with your course.

![]() | Re: Tossing up which course to do For i-to-i, there is only the 40, 60 and 80 hour online courses. I don't know where you are getting your information from. 60 hour online course suited me just fine! See Online TEFL courses

![]() | Re: Tossing up which course to do Hi I got my information from the i-to-i website. They have introduced a 100 hour combined course, 80 hrs online, and 20 hrs weekend, or you can do purely online or the online hours whether they be 40, 60 etc with the weekend. Your info is helpful though. I'd prefer not to do the weekend course though, because it costs about another $400. |
