![]() | TESL Course for new teachers For new teachers, I can't stress enough that a TESL course is the way to go. Heading into a class with no experience or tips is very stressful. When I first started teaching, I had no experience whatsover. The experience was very stressful. When I first started, there really was no internet, so I couldn't get timely advice or help that is around nowadays. New teachers have it so much easier than how things were 10 years ago. For a few hundred dollars, it's money well spent on a TESL course. |

![]() | Thanks to everyone for your advice! In reply to Hypiereon, I am taking the course to better my chances of finding a job, but since I have absolutely no experience in teaching english, it is also for myself. There is nothing worse than finding yourself in a situation where you don't know what you are doing, so I'd like to get a solid understanding of the basics before I start. |
