 | Tesol V Celta... Hi, What's better - the Oxford Trinity TESOL course, or the Cambridge CELTA course? (Or are they possibly even?) Does anyone have any solid information? I'm going to do one or the other in Prague (where they are both offered). Thanks. |

| Re: Tesol V Celta... I think people are getting too obsessed about which is the best course. They are both top notch, and you should be choosing the course that is both within your budget and consists of modules you like. In the end, your success at teaching is how you develop yourself over the years and professionalism you display. |

| Re: Tesol V Celta... I would dare to say Trinity TESOL and Cambridge CELTA are possibly even yet I doubt these 2 providers would like to be placed into the same boat. One thing that does impress me about Trinity is the options to further your training if required. That is by means of a Diploma either on campus training or via correspondence. Also, I've heard on the grapevine that CELTA could be losing it's affiliation with Cambridge University. It's only a rumour at this stage, so don't quote me on it. |

| Re: Tesol V Celta... The CELTA and Trinity Cert TESOL are pretty even when it comes to recognition by employers. I don't think you'll find many employers who would accept one but not the other. | Re: Tesol V Celta... I have a CELTA and have never been heard of preference over one or another qualification...both CELTA and Trinity will enable you to get a job in teaching. Sorry about the late post! |
