![]() | Re: teaching assignment Warm-up activities helps break the ice and set the atmosphere. It's always good to do a warm-up activity them compliments the main part of your lesson. Eg: If your lesson will be on "at the restaurant" English, then your warm up activity can be to solicit questions and discussion on favourite foods, worst restaurant experiences and so on. A warm-up activity can also be used to give students time to arrive to the class. Especially with adult students, some may arrive a few minutes after the class has commenced, hence using a warm-up activity at first ensures they haven't missed the main part of the lesson.
