![]() | Re: You don't need a degree to teach in Japan Hi... I just wanted to say a few things on this topic. I know it's been like a year since something was posted, but I feel I have to say something. I recently just finished the Global TESOL College foundation course and I found it to be very useful. I think a lot of what "blsf" said above is totally ridiculous, and if people care for me to elaborate I will. Anyway, on the whole, it looks very useful to me. |

![]() | Re: Global TESOL college- opinions? To offer an employer's perspective, EF English First (with 200 schools worldwide) will accept applications from candidates with Global TESOL qualifications - but unfortunately due to visa restrictions in some countries it is necessary for candidates to also have university degrees for some locations. These degrees can be in any field and do not have to be related to teaching or TEFL/TESL. TEFL Jobs | Vacancies Worldwide |

![]() | Re: Global TESOL college- opinions? To put it in a nutshell, I wouldn't advise Global TESOL college. I have some friends that had the same problem trying to find jobs abroad. So I'd advise you to either take a TESL course recognized by TESL Canada or a CELTA course by Cambridge. ![]() |
