![]() | Getting an advantage over other teachers Heys gfell! thanks for ur reply! In terms of the TEFL courses which one do you think is good to do?? On this site lots of people have said i-to-i TEFL course is great.. i've also considered global tesol.. I just want something that will look good ahead of the other applicants! ![]() | In terms of getting an advantage over other ESL Teachers, I don't believe having 1 online TESL course over another online TESL course will make much of a difference. But if you had a weekend TEFL course, then that would hold more weight than an online TESL course. You need to focus on other things too such as how your resume is laid out. Don't include carwashing or mowing the lawns for friends when you were 16 on your resume. Only include relevant details, and try to tie them in with teaching. Also, recruiters don't like getting huge files of photos etc. Cut them down to less than 100Kb. This also shows you take care in your work and present yourself nicely. Last thing a recruiter wants to do is wait for your email to download, then have to reduce the size of your images.
