![]() | Teaching Children - why some teachers love it! So you are undecided whether to pursue teaching children or adults. As with most things in life, there are plusses and negatives when choosing the type of students to teach. Today we will look at the positives of teaching children. The negatives will be discussed in a further blog.

![]() | "Children are pure, and don't know anything"...............what sort of opening statement is this???? Are you a teacher? Have you worked with children? I don't mean to sound rude.......but this statement is very strange. I'm sure you could have expressed your thoughts along this line in a more accurate and appropriate way. |

![]() | Children are pure How many children aged 4 do you know of that are thinking evil? All 4-year olds I have met are pure, and don't want to harm others. As children grow into adults, then they start questioning things more and some start turning to crime. It's a fact of society. Sure, children will cry, and want to grab things for themselves such as toys. However, their intention behind it is not evil. Children do not know anything, hence they go to pre-school and start to learn other social and manner skills from those around them. So as a teacher, teaching very young children, you have the opportunity to shape them into decent members of society. |

![]() | Re: Positives of Teaching Children I probably feel the message meant that "Children are unknown to good or bad. They are so innocent. They are in their own world and hence at the age of 1-5 they are not knowledgeable to understand the difference between good and bad". |
