Re: Teaching in Hong Kong

Life in Hong Kong? hmm... let me see. Interesting, and at the same time infuriating. You will be shocked if you come from a "car culture" with large open spaces. In Hong Kong, everything is so compact with the crowds very much relying on public transportation.

Chinese doctors and their medicine? Foul smelling, but supposingly full of natures' goodness. I bought some capsicum juice to help stimulate blood circulation. My god did it sting too.... Make sure you get proper health insurance if ever you go to Hong Kong so you can afford the western hospitals etc.

The very sticky and uncomfortable summer. I just hope your school doesn't make you wear a tie. Sometimes it's a real pleasure just sitting in a department store all day to avoid the heat.

Top Schools to try in Hong Kong

Canadian International School
American International School
Glenealy School
Kellett School
Kowloon Junior School
Sha Tin College

Hope that helps you with your quest.

Re: Teaching in Hong Kong

Hi Andy, Have you had any luck contacting those job agencies given by Jason? I'm also Australian and would be interested in companies recruiting Australians. There are many recruitment agencies so any tips would be appreciated! Looking for work in August this year. cheers
