![]() | Teaching English in Italy Easiest would be to search for language schools in Italy and just forward them your resume. Italy is not big on recruiters, and the schools often hire direct. http://italy.english-schools.org/ would be a good start for English schools in Italy.

International Schools in Italy - Italy Schools for a list of schools. I would concentrate on getting the job first and then lining up a homestay. As it is, finding a teaching job in Italy is not the easiest compared to many Asian countries.

| Junior Member ![]() | Re: Teaching English in Italy I live in Italy and there seems to be a growing lack of mother-tongue English teachers. The reason for this is maybe the high cost of living compared to what you can expect to earn. So check the pay very carefully. Remember that a small apartment in Italy will cost you €500 to €800 to rent, so you will be forced to share. |
