![]() | Two different currencies in Cambodia?? Did you know there are two currencies used in Cambodia? the US dollar and the Cambodian riel. Prices are usually quoted in dollars, but since there are no American coins in circulation in Cambodia, the local currency functions as small change. For example, if you buy a chicken cosing $1.50 and give the shopkeeper $2, the shopkeeper will give you about 2,000 riel in change. |
