Saudi Arabia work visa

Does anyone know of anyone working in Saudi Arabia on a simple visit visa?

If so have any troubles come up in regards to working on a visit visa?

Re: saudi arabia

In Saudi Arabia, there are 3 types of visas for non-muslims:
  • Visitor's visa
  • Residence visa
  • Transit visas
The visitor's visa is like a work visa in other countries. You must have a Saudi sponsor (company or individual) to guarantee your welfare when in the country.

Do have have a sponsor? If not, then impossible.

Saudi Visas

Hey Brian,

thanks for your timely reply.

I took a position with Berlitz having worked for them in Japan. It has taken now up to three months trying to get a visit/work visa (see KSA Australian embassy website) which was denied. We are now trying to get a simple visit visa. Are you telling me that with this visa i will be able to work without the risk of deportation or worse.

cheers

Yes, if you have a visit visa, then you can work legally. A visit visa needs to be sponsored by a Saudi company or individual. Seems Berlitz doesn't a company in Saudi Arabia, hence why your visa was rejected.

It's really simple as long as you have a Saudi sponsor.
