TEFL cert in Beijing or Zuhai?

I am considering either studying to get my TEFL cert in one of the two places in China, Beijing or Zuhai (sp?). does anyone have any recommendations on which place to go, and which company/school they went through?

Thanks for replying, do you recommend either one of the cities? it seems like Zhuhai is a little bit more expensive, is the cost of living also more expensive in Zhuhai as opposed to Beijing

Beijing has a population of 15 million and area of 16,800 square km. (892 peple / sq km)
Zhuhai has a population of 1.4 million and area of 1,653 square km. (846 peple / sq km)

If you look at the ratios, each city has very similar population densities, so don't expect too much of a difference in the cost of living.

Zhuhai also has a reputation as being the most liveable city in China. A garden city you may call it with beautiful natural landscapes. Personally, I would prefer Zhuhai due to the cleaner environment.

Beijing is only good for seeing the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Other than that, there are much nicer places in China!

ya but the TEFL course is only offered in either Beijing or Zhuhai so its either or, i'm only gonna be there for 4 weeks.

well i see that you're in china, and the only two cities that i know of that certify people are zhuhai and beijing so if you are not in either city you're on your own, but i'd try and get there.

Check out the websites... teflcourse.net, teflcorp.com, teflintl.com... all of those companies are the same price to take the 4 week course in beijing or zhuhai, and all also have an internet course you can take so you dont have to move if you are not in one of those cities, but from what i've read on these message boards, the online courses is not that great and you must be super self motivated to get through it. Thats why i'm choosing to study on location instead of online. plus you get real teaching practice on location whereas online you are just reading a book.
