Suzhou

Hi all I've planned on arriving in China Aug/Sept this year to teach and want to go to Suzhou.

Does anyone know the best way of obtaining work in Suzhou? Is there an agent or agency that can be recommended for Jiangsu?

I've really researched and would like to go to Suzhou to teach if at all possible. I know that many agencies are on the boards here, but is that my best option? If so can someone please recommend one!! I'd also love to hear of anyone teaching in Suzhou past or present..

Try English First. Huge operation and they do place candidates in Suzhou. For such a huge operation, you will find a low percentage of bad press about them.

Don't let the bad press throw you off though. No matter how good of a service an agent does, at times there are always going to be people out to get you.

• Suzhou Googol Education Institute
• Suzhou Rayhua Bilingual Academy
• DarwinSuzsoft (www.darwinsuzsoft.com) - primarily IT, but they do hire English teachers.

You will enjoy Suzhou a lot. Lots of culture there and beautiful nature and I think about 300 classical landscaped gardens. Definitely a great choice!
