![]() | Negotiating in a different language Hello, this forum is very helpful. I'll be teaching in Beijing. my companion is already there. we haven't seen our contract yet. the problem is that we don't have someone to translate for us. it's very difficult to communicate with the owner of the college. how can we negotiate when we don't know anyone there to help translate for us? |

Really, if you find it difficult to communicate with the school now, try to imagine how it would be when you are in trouble or need help and want to communicate with the school. A lack of communication would suggest considering work eslewhere. A lack of communication can cause many troubles for you later on down the track.
