![]() | Non-native English speakers in China Yes they do. You would need a TEFL certificate and very good fluency however. Chinese schools realise that there are many good English teachers out there who are not necessarily native English speakers.

No. The whole "Hope vs. Reality" thread is aimed directly to answer this exact question. Don't lose hope though - no one is saying you can't, but it is going to be a LOT more difficult and a LOT harder for you.
