Re: Getting a job before arriving

Hi kiwi, I'm Australian and looking to get a job before arriving but where are the 'job boards' that people speak about? there seem to be many and how does one know how credible some agencies are? where do u suggest I start?

I am looking for a job for august this year before I arrive. Are there particular job boards that you can recommend and if this question is in the wrong place here I apologise, I'm new to the internet forum.

thanks again!

Job boards can be found at http://www.aacircle.com.au/forums/f39/. Just do a search in google for ESL Jobs and you will find a whole lot more.

To find out if an agency is credible or not, ask to speak to one of their current and past teachers, and search in google for their name and "blacklist" or "scam".

hi mike1234, i have a current job opening you might be interested in. this is in the northern part of china. i see you are a musician, which makes you perfect for the job. just one thing, you have to love working with kids. if you can give me that assurance, i can speak to my boss and give you a hand with landing a job before arriving.

Hi Mike, like gfell said, there are plenty of ESl job sites around so just google it and see what happens. There's a good jobs service in this site too, so apply and try and see where it can lead you. Good luck!
