![]() | China's public health crises in Schools Did you know that 70% of China's public health crises take place in schools? Well, it is according to the Vice-Minister of Health in China whom also said low public awareness is to blame. The general public does not have sufficient knowledge about maintaining health, a basic human right. Instructing people on how to take care of their health is the government's responsibility. Just spending a day in any Chinese city, you will soon see the lack of sanitation and factors contributing to a health crises in China. The alarmingly high incidence of undiagnosed health problems in China, especially among city dwellers, is largely to do with unhealthy lifestyles. Bad working habits, poor disease prevention knowledge, inadequate government investment and lack of health education are the main reasons behind this dire health situation. If any of you guys have been to China, you will no doubt understand where I'm coming from. Typical and common examples as to no place to wash your hands after going to the toilet, and not washing your hands before meals.
