![]() | Working Holiday Visa Taiwan Am thinking of coming to Taiwan on a working holiday visa. Do you know of anyone doing this also, is there a problem with working for a year for the one company on such a visa. I only ask because it made no difference in Japan, (where they stipulate a maximum of 20 hours) working 50 hour weeks for the entire duration of my stay. cheers, any info would be great. roger. ![]() | Re: Working Holiday Visa Taiwan On a Working Holiday Visa to Taiwan, you CANNOT work for the one employer for more than 3 months. These are the rules, and whether you and your school wish to abide by them is another story.

![]() | Re: Working Holiday Visa Taiwan No. Schools are not THAT desperate to start hiring teachers illegally. If you want to work for a decent school, then I suggest getting the school to sponsor you. If the school hires you illegally, then don't expect them to be professional towards you either.

![]() | Re: Working Holiday Visa Taiwan No. It's against the visa office rules. Alternatively, you can be sponsored with only a TEFL certificate and diploma.
