![]() | Does anyone know if the medical check you have to undertake for a working visa in taiwan includes diabetes. I am diabetic and am just wandering if that will preclude me from getting a visa to work in taiwan |

![]() | Diabetes in Taiwan The medical checks are very thorough and will cost you approx. TWD1400. Diabetes is no major illness. If is picks up you have diabetes, no major problem. It's a common illness and wont prevent you from getting a work visa. The medical checks are more interested to see if you have traces of drugs in your blood or are HIV+. You have no need to worry. ![]()
