Question Phone card for Taiwan

Does anyone know of a good international phonecard for Taiwan? Last thing I want to do is pay high prices to call back home.

Any info much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you again.

If you have ADSL connection or something similar, why don't you signup for an internet phone account? Much cheaper but sometimes the quality sux.

Just don't use iPrimus. I use them now and the quality is hopeless. I will use up my credit then look around for another phone company.

Get skype. You can make phone calls directly from(with) you computer. There are really cheap. If the person you are calling also has skype the calls can sometimes even be free!

Skype to Skype calls are great. skype to landlines or mobiles is okay though I would say a little bit better than callind cards.
If you can afford, buy a dualphone ( one company who's selling the dualphone is www.skypephone.com.au but I think there are some more) - is really cool.

Cheers,
Mark

I would check out a program called Skype... i think its like 2 cents a minute and it allows you to talk over your internet connection to any phone in the world. I've used it myself from Tokyo to the US and it worked like a charm. I believe Google is about to release something similar called Google Talk... but I'm pretty sure theirs will be free!

Free phone calls

I doubt Google will offer free phonecalls. They will probably charge like Skype do. Yeh, I use Skype too and it works great!

Remember 10 years ago the price of international phone calls was astronomical.
