![]() | Disappearance of a Hess Teacher Traveling to a strange country can be dangerous at times. Being in uncertain surrounds, it's easy to become a victim of organized crime. Such led to the disappearance of Fred Frontier, the teacher whom went missing days after arriving to teach in Taiwan. There was nothing typical about the way Frontier vanished. In May 2003, he traveled to Taiwan to teach English for Hess Educational Organization. He arrived a few days early, checked in with his employer and told them he was going sightseeing. Whilst traveling abroad to teach in a new country can be exciting, it can also bring unwanted dangers. If travelling to isolated areas, do so in groups and be sure to tell someone where you are going. Fred Frontier and his passport still have not been found to this day. |
