Hi all If i'm looking for an apartment outside of Taipei, whats the chances of me getting a semi furnished apartment (bed, kitchen stuff) thats relatively ok priced? what price or conditions should i just say no to? Please tell me about your experiences apartment hunting, would be greatly appreciated! many thanx ![]() |

![]() | Re: apartment searching, help! You may want to take a look at http://www.aacircle.com.au/accommodation-taiwan.htm which talks about accommodation in Taiwan. Here you will see the low end and high end in rent prices. If you go for a studio apartment, then usually they will come furnished to a certain extent. Other than that, you would get an empty apartment where you would need to furnish it yourself. If you are planning on staying in Taiwan for more than 18 months, then it's going to be more affordable in the long run taking on a lease and renting your own apartment rather than going for an already furnished place. When you arrive to Taiwan, utilize your resources. By that, I mean most schools and employers will help you find something suitable to your needs.
