![]() | What Qualifications needed? I am currently a lecturer with Victoria Police (Australia) but I do not have any formal qualifications apart from Certificate 4 in workplace training. Are degrees/diplomas essential for teaching positions in Korea. I am considering a 12 month stay in either Korea or China. nigeld. ![]() |

![]() | If you don't hold a degree, then I would give up on going to Korea. Too hard to get a good job then. China is way more flexible and would be your best bet. If you are under 30 y/o, you can get a working visa to teach in Japan. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Best Bet Your best bet is to go with China. Get TEFL Certified if humanly possible - ( just do it) - then start checking around. You most probably will not get into a college or university position, but there are many opportuntities out there.
