![]() | Teaching Korea Newbie 2 Hey, I went on to my recruiter's Korean site and translated it for a bit more info. Oddly, when a list of their candidates came up, including me, it listed name, nationality, hopeful area and the date we all registered. Under "hopeful area" it came up as Military officer for a lot ot people. I;m guessing this was a bad translation but, just incase, does anyone know what this might mean? (I'd asked for a position in Seoul or Incheon). Hope it's ok to post a link to it, here: Translation result for http://total-english.com/board/bbs/board.php?bo_table=lec&wr_id=394 I'm sure this is nothing to worry about but unfortunatley I began worrying. Apologies. |

![]() | Re: Teaching Korea Newbie 2 Interesting. I just took a look at your link, and sure did see "hopefully area" as Military Officer. I think it's a bad translation. You may want to contact your recruiter and clear it up with them.

![]() | Re: Teaching Korea Newbie 2 Thanks for the reply. I'm going to be talking to them on the phone in a few days so I'll maybe just clarify with them that I'm not looking to join the army. |

![]() | Re: Teaching Korea Newbie 2 Hahaha... funny. I don't think they have plans to sign you up into the army. You would think English schools get their ads proof read before posting to set a good example. |
