![]() | Moving to South Korea-advice needed! Hi I'm moving to South Korea soon but am quite overwhelmed at choosing a location. Initially I thought Busan sounded good and Seoul might be too claustrophobic??? but I checked out a job in Busan and the area doesn't seem great. Ulsan looks really nice too if anyone knows any info on that. If anyone can send me info on what they consider great locations to live in South Korea that would be dead helpful!!! Cheers !!!!!! |

![]() | Best places to live in Korea Yeh, it's always hard trying to tell someone where is the best place to live in Korea. Personally, I prefer Busan. It's big enough, on the coast and plenty of work available. But like you said, it doesn't seem to suit you. Perhaps you should try another area in Busan. There are places I would and places I wouldn't live in Busan. What about Pusan then? Very few bars for foreigners however the climate is nice and air cleaner than Seoul. Also has a decent beach. If you are young and heaps of energy, then you can't go past Seoul. Like all big cities around the world, there is a neverending supply of entertainment. In the end, it all comes down to what type of person you are and what your plans are. I came to South Korea with another teacher, and she is up in Changwon at the moment. She swears by the moon that it's the best place to be. Clean air, lots of open parks and playgrounds and within easy reach to water. |
