 | Life in Mokpo Ok, let me give you the low down on Mokpo. - Frequent train system between Seoul - The terminus for many ferries routes serving the islands in the Yellow Sea. How does this affect you? Well, you can travel easily and explore Korea from Mokpo. You can take a 3-hour ferry ride to Chejudo, which is twice the size of Mokpo and a bustling tourist scene! - Rocky seashores and busy fishing industry. Don't expect to be bathing in the sun as everyone will be sure to stare at you. You can get some of the freshest seafood in Mokpo. - If you want to get away from tourism then Mokpo is the place to go. You will see ordinary people living ordinary lives.
