![]() | Hi Hamish, To be short, yes it's possible to work in South Korea if you have married a South Korean national. No university degree is necessary. However, there is a mountain of paperwork that you need to prepare in order to do this. Where did you marry? In Australia or South Korea? Cause South Korea does not recognize marriages that were performed at a wedding ceremony only. It needs to be a civil registration of your marriage. Anyway, take a look at http://travel.state.gov/law/citizens...nship_760.html for what needs to be prepared by you and your wife. As you are Australian, you need to get your local Australian embassy and local Korean embassy to recognize your marriage in Australia. You would apply for the F2-1 visa to work in Korea. There is no need for a visa run as this visa can be changed over when you are in South Korea. Other links for you: http://www.moj.go.kr http://www.britishembassy.or.kr/engl...r/marriage.htm |
