![]() | Hi, i'm new to this site forum and to the english teaching abroad thing and so I wanted to ask you guys a couple of questions. I'm originally from south korea but i came to australia when i was 2 yrs old and have been here all my life (I'm 22 now), and i am an australian citizen... I have a bachelors degree in fine arts and i am now planning to to an TEFL i-to-i online and weekend course so that i can teach in Korea. I was wondering if I'll still be able to get good offers? Because i heard people there want someone with western appearance? I'm just curious to whether to pursue this or not... as the course i graduated from seems to have limited jobs here in Sydney. Any replies would be great!! Cheers! |

![]() | Asian faces teaching English There are many English teachers that come from an Asian background. Taiwan is a bit more fussy than other countries, but with a bit of determination, based on your background, there will still be many teaching opportunities for you.
