Visa for your girlfriend

Unfortunately Japan will only issue a GENERAL VISA to a spouse or an unmarried child. On the GENERAL VISA, the status would be "dependent", meaning no work can be engaged in.

So you would need to marry your girlfriend to have her stay in Japan legally or have her come on a tourist visa.

Alternative would be Taiwan where you can piggy back your girlfriend on your ARC (work visa).
