![]() | Re: Automatically getting a visa Once you get a job teaching in Japan, you will need to go through the process of applying a visa. Your school will help you with this. Only if you get a full-time job will your school sponsor you for a visa. Make sure you hold a passport from a native English speaking country and a university degree.

![]() | Re: Automatically getting a visa Also keep your transcripts within easy reach. There are times the government will want those as well. They will need letters of references including one personal reference. Make sure their fax and/or email address is on the ref. letters. The prospective employer and/or govt will check on them. The other important issue is to make sure your resume is set to Japanese standards. Most employers and the govt prefer a certain layout style. I have had some clients that sent their N. american style resume and had it rejected. Then come to me to fix it so that they can move forward in the process. |
