Question Anyone teaching in IZUMO?

Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and wanted to say "hey."

I would like to know if anyone is currently teaching in Izumo-shi, Shimane or anywhere in that local area.
I will be moving there shortly and wanted to know what it is like.

Oh, I know Izumo Taisha - the temple for marriage. If you don't have a partner, go there and pray to the marriage gods.

There is no bullet train to Shimane-ken, so you need to take the local trains from Hiroshima I believe it is. Are you up to the countryside of Japan?

Re: Anyone teaching in IZUMO?

Thanks for your reply.
Actually I am going to fly to Izumo - they have an airport.
Hmm - I think I am ready for the "country" - I once lived in an african village of 650 for Peace Corp. If there are more people than that then I think I will be fine.

Re: Anyone teaching in IZUMO?

Good to hear it then. So they have an airport there? I'm sure it's not an international airport though.

Some people hate it and others love it when living in the countryside. Countryside in Japan still has a lot more going for it than the countryside in most western countries due to the high population of Japan.
