![]() | ALT jobs in Japan and cost of living You may want to do a search on "alt job japan" within these forums. I think you will then find the answer you are looking for. Cost of living in Japan is not as expensive as some think. You can go to a family restaurant (similar to Sizzlers in Australia) and enjoy a salad / bread and soup bar buffet all for ¥893 for lunch. This also includes a hot meal consisting of a meat pattie (large rissole). Quite a good deal. If you eat enough, you can generally miss dinner. Some family restaurants in Japan are:

![]() | hi been pretty busy thx will look around at the alt forums area umm i kinda looked around today at adsl sites seems pretty cheap to australia ? i pay what 75 a month for 512 adsl unlimited they have like 50mbps or sumthen wow we are far behind. other then that i wanna wait till after i do this cousre to deside on what to do and what to ask thx again for help *edit* wow i have been looking through the jobs page for japan, looks like i may have a lot of trouble getting a job in japan *lacking uni degree and all* |

![]() | No Uni degree = no job in Japan, except if... If you don't hold a Uni degree, then you will find it extremely hard to get a teaching job in Japan, UNLESS you apply for a Working Holiday visa. |
