University Position - Oaxaca, Mexico (Ixtlan de Juarez)

The Universidad de Sierra Juarez is located in Ixtlan de Juarez, in the Sierra Mountains 1 hour northeast of Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, in southern Mexico.

We are looking for

• Qualified (M.A. or B.A.+ CELTA/TESOL certification) native speakers
• At least 2 years classroom teaching experience, preferably overseas with young adult students.
• A B.A. degree is a minimum requirement to receive a working visa, so we cannot consider applicants who do not have a degree.
• Specific TESL/TEFL training is also a requirement of the university's academic council.
• Experience in English for Specific Purposes, TOEFL or the UCLES exams, is a plus.
• Spanish ability is not a requirement, but makes life easier.
