| Teaching in Yangon, Myanmar The Thabyay Education Network is a Thai registered foundation that aims to provide marginalized groups from all of Burma's nationalities with individuals who have the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and qualifications necessary to work effectively for human development, peace, and ethnic reconciliation. Yangon University Preparation Program (YUPP) YMPP is a new project aiming to prepare experienced and committed community workers to pursue further studies at quality universities within the SE Asian region. The program will cover social studies and research methods, as well as English language. The English component of the program will prepare students for the IELTS examination. Thabyay also manages a number of scholarship programs that will provide support for successful graduates of YMPP to study on selected masters programs in the region. Duties and Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing and overseeing all aspects of the English course, and will work as the main teacher on this program. This will include: - Planning the course content and structure - Designing course curricula and materials - Placement, supervision and evaluation of students - Liaison with program coordinators and other teachers working on the program - Liaison with relevant organizations regarding scholarship programs for students - Assisting other Thabyay programs as required Required
