Teaching roles in Kuwait

Experienced EFL Teachers required for Kuwait City - teaching adults working in the oil and gas industry. Native speakers only should apply.

Language Solutions seeks applications for available EFL teaching positions on the basis of one-year renewable contracts in Kuwait City. Working within a busy team, this is a challenging and rewarding job. Technical training experience or experience in the oil and gas industry may be an advantage. However, solid business and/or general teaching experience is equally valid. This post is located in Kuwait City. The position will suit innovative teachers able and willing to use the available technology.

Start: March/April 2008.

We are looking for experienced, dynamic English teachers preferably with experience in technical English for the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and resourceful. We require people who are both self-reliant and team players. Our students are working adults and work trainees with levels generally ranging from beginner to intermediate with some upper intermediate and advanced. There will be an exam focus, for example PET, KET, IELTS, TOEFL. In addition we will be providing some ESP courses.

22.5 contact hours per week. Five days teaching per week. The working day is from 7am to 3pm. Excellent teaching facilities.

Required

• Primary degree. (must be available for legalisation by the Kuwait Embassy)
• Minimum CELTA or Trinity Cert TEFL or equivalent
• 5 years' post CELTA experience
