Secondary Level Literature Teacher Needed - Thailand

Secondary (Grade 9, 11, 12) Literature teacher needed

Bright Future International Training & Services (BFITS), an educational organization which provides primary and secondary academic programs to private and government schools in Thailand, seeks to hire motivated, ambitious, responsible BA/BS graduates with TEFL certification who are interested in professional development, cultural exchange and travel. We are a very academically-oriented and dedicated company. We highlight the importance of integrating technology into our classrooms, and all classrooms are equipped with white boards, air conditioning, and LCD projectors to help each and every student become involved in learning.


Position Description


Secondary Grade 9, 11, and 12 Teacher to teach 18 hours a week to include: Literature Grade 9 x 6 hours, Literature Grade 11 x6 hours and, Literature Grade 12 x 6 hours. This school is located in the suburbs of Bangkok in Thonburi. The school is one of the oldest schools in Bangkok founded by King Rama V and currently under patronage of King Rama IX. It is an all boy’s schools with dedicated, air conditioned classrooms. Class sizes are 25-30. This position is best suited for experienced teachers looking to further develop their teaching experience.





Benefits:

• 38,000 baht salary per month plus 500 baht per hour over 80 teaching hours /monthly
• 12 month contract that can be extended for additional years and additional benefits.
• End of Contract bonus up to 25,000 baht increasing to 30,000 baht with additional years.
• Guaranteed yearly 3% cost of living pay increase minimum.
• BUPA medical insurance paid.
• 1-2 weeks paid vacation (additional week for each additional year of employment up to 4 weeks).
• 2-4 Paid personal/sick days
• All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)
• Assistance in obtaining a Non-B visa (Teacher must provide proper documentation-Original Degree/TEFL).
• Visa extension, work permit, and teacher’s license paid by BFITS.
• A Thai coordinator is assigned to the school to assist you with program maintenance, copies, etc.
• Yearly professional development training provided for free during school breaks. Topics of training based on teacher requests and needs.
• Required "Thai Culture Course" for Work Permit/Visa is paid by company.
• Western Management .
