Center Director for our ESL and university programs - USA

Now accepting applications for Center Director for our school on the campus of Pacific Lutheran University.

Embassy CES, a leader in English language training, teaches English to international students. The Center Director will be responsible for the overall management of our unique ESL and university transition programs on-site at PLU.

Reporting directly to the West Coast Operations Director, the Center Director will be responsible for:

- overall operations of the center
- managing relationships with university officers and staff
- ensuring high levels of student satisfaction
- keeping informed as a DSO of regulatory requirements and policies and ensuring that the Center is in compliance, following related Study Group procedures
- developing and implementing customer service and public relations/promotional activities that will result in growth at the Center
- general management of all center staff
- development and adherence of center budget
- ensuring center is ACCET compliant

Required

• College graduate, masters preferred. Courses in business management, cross-cultural awareness, counseling, and ESL are helpful
• Demonstrate extensive experience of managing an ESL or educational program with full supervisory responsibilities, including hiring and evaluating personnel
• Cross-cultural or international experience and experience in sales and fiscal management preferred
• Service oriented, have the ability to relate well to a wide range of cultural groups, and be willing and capable of promoting Embassy CES to prospective and current clients
• Goal-oriented, a hands-on manager, and able to identify the need for -- and to initiate -- action plans to continuously improve the services provided
