Job Description

Teach no more than 25 hours. Our kids age from 3 to 6 years old. You're teaching ORAL English, not reading and writing. This job requires a lot of energy! While classes may only be half an hour long, you will be doing a lot of singing and dancing and endless rounds of "head and shoulders, knees and toes!" It's a very FUN job, but it can be draining!

Positions are located throughout Beijing, the capital of China. Beijing is an extremely international city and is changing by the day in preparation for the Summer 2008 Olympics. There are over 15 million people here and it can be overwhelming, but there is no doubt that life here is exciting! Our company pays you a decent salary, takes care of your rent, and provides Mandarin lessons on the weekends. There are plenty of expatriots in Beijing. Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, Mao's Mausoleum, and hutongs are a subway ride away. The Great Wall, Ming Tombs, and the Peking Man site are a short bus ride away. There's never been a more exciting time to experience Beijing!

Qualifications

English must be your first language. You do not need to speak Chinese. Previous teaching experience is not required, though preferable. Experiencing working with children, as well as living or travelling abroad, is not required but is preferred.
