Thumbs up Teaching Children Could Be the Life-Transforming Experience You Are Seeking IN TAIWAN

Teaching overseas is an enriching experience allowing individuals to become stronger, wiser and more interesting as people and as professionals.

Taiwan, in particular, is an attractive place to begin your ESL teaching career. The pay for teachers is among the highest in Asia, and the culture is friendly. It is the perfect place to make (and save!) some money, travel to other wonderful Asian destinations, and learn Chinese (that’s right…we speak Mandarin here!)

Many do not realize what a gem Taiwan is. Shaped roughly like a sweet potato, the island is home to more than 22 million people and is one of the most densely populated places in the world. Besides its crowded cities and friendly people, Taiwan is also known for steep mountains and lush forests. There are lots to see and do here, no matter where you are located.

Asian Consultants International, an established recruiting firm based in Taiwan, is looking for teacher candidates who are patient, flexible, enthusiastic, energetic and personable. You should also have a good sense of humor and genuinely enjoy working with children. Teaching experience is an advantage, but not necessary. Living abroad or travel experience is also useful.

Benefits:
-Competitive monthly salary (1700-2500 USD).
-Work visa with excellent national health insurance offered.
-Set curriculum.
-Full-time (100 teaching hours/month) only.

*All of our schools provide teaching materials and initial training.

-You must be a Native English Speaker with a valid passport (North Americans are preferred).

-You must be willing to be flexible and have an open mind for cultural sensitivity.

*Please send the above document to aci_tw@yahoo.com*

We would love to see you here!

Here are two teacher testimonial from last year:

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing in recommendation of the services offered by Asian Consultants International, a recruiting firm dedicated to matching English teachers from North America with the very best teaching opportunities in Taiwan.

In particular, I worked with the recruiter Julie Teng, and could not be more pleased with the assistance she provided in the job search. Julie’s knowledge of the market and in particular of the local work culture gave me key insight that allowed me to make the best choice among many options. The take an agnostic view on matching teaching skills to opportunities, and this was key; I never felt pressured to take an opportunity or interview anywhere that seemed a poor match.

Julie Teng in her capacity at ACI leveraged her deep network of contacts to find me many opportunities. But it was her tireless energy and diligence allowed me to feel as though I was her only client, though I know she was helping several others simultaneously.

In short, I am grateful for the work of Julie Teng at Asian Consultants International, and can whole-heartedly recommend their services to other teachers in search of opportunities in Taiwan.

Sincerely,

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am writing in recommendation of the services offered by Asian Consultants International.
In particular, I would like to recommend the recruiter Julie Teng, for her outstanding/continuous help and effort in finding a position, which truly suits me. Julie exercised extreme patience and professionalism throughout the entire process, and more so, I never felt pressure from her to take a position, which I was not entirely interested in.
Furthermore, Julie has maintained continual contact with me throughout my placement and the beginning of my ESL career. It is this kind of support, which makes Julie a superior recruiter, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone, including close friends or relatives, interested in teaching in Taiwan.
I am happy to recommend her services, and thus those of ACI. I am very happy with my new career, and I am very thankful to Julie for all her superb help and support.
Sincerely,
Dylan Reader
