Yangmei is very close Taoyuan City, where the international airport is. Taoyuan is the city next to Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. This location is perfect for any teachers looking to immerse themselves in Taiwanese language (Chinese), and culture. The location is also very convenient for quickly reaching any of the major northern cities on the island (Taizhong, Taoyuan, Taipei), as it is quite centrally located to them all. In addition to this, the train station from which you depart is very near to both the school, and the foreign teacher’s apartments. Also conveniently close to this location is Jhongli city, which is one of the oldest cities in Northern Taiwan, is quite beautiful, and has everything you may need in terms of shopping, food, and/or entertainment.
