Seeking full-time and/or part-time foreign EFL instructors

Start: Fall semester, September 2008.

Chinese Culture University was established in 1962. Our School of Continuing Education offers degree programs and advanced degree programs to working professionals. We are located in the heart of Taipei City, just opposite the Da An Park, minutes from the MRT and the Shi Da Night Market.

The EFL Program is administered by University at Buffalo’s English Language Institute. Our instructors are a collaborative team, working in a state-of-the-art facility at our central-Taipei campus.

Our school year is 3 semesters, Fall, Spring & Summer. All national holidays are paid (including Chinese New Year), for both full and part time instructors.

Take advantage of this opportunity to get a full- time position and a Taiwan Lecturer's Certificate, working in one of Taiwan's premier universities.

Required

• Master's degree in TESOL (or closely-related field)
• Certificate of Lecturer issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan is preferred.
• Non-Taiwanese applicants must hold a passport from the US, CAN, UK, AUS or NZ.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching adults preferred.
• Willingness to teach on weekends, and/or in the evenings.
• Willingness to work 5 days a week (for full-time instructors).
